As followers of Jesus Christ, we accept His authority
in all matters of life and faith, aiming to serve Him in
all we say, think or do. Our services and housegroups
reflect our reliance on the bible in interpreting the
will of God and following the way of Christ. Our aim
is to provide inspired preaching and teaching
that will provide encouragement and challenge to all;
worship that will draw us closer to God and His will for
us; prayer that will open our eyes to the needs of those
around us; service that will promote the love of God
in Jesus Christ.

Our greatest desire is to see many people of all ages, cultures and backgrounds in Tarporley and the surrounding villages coming into a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. To fulfil our calling we recognize the need for change in ourselves and changes to the church and its buildings. At a recent church weekend away in Derbyshire we began work on a banner that would express our hopes for the future work and growth of the church. It now hangs in the church and reads: Growing together in God - witness, love, community, faith, gifts, discipleship, prayer, unity. Already we have made progress in these areas, but there is much still to be done. If you are looking for the perfect church, you won't find it here !! However, if you are searching for a spiritual home where you will be accepted just as you are, yet challenged to become the person God wants you to be, come and join with others who share your human weaknesses and spiritual hopes.

We believe that we now stand at a vital stage in the ongoing story of this church and we are excited about the vision God has begun to reveal to us here in Tarporley.
